Raisa
- Raisa is a super talented woman I know from college, she is fun, and has a great voice. She lives in New York, and is probably loved by all the right people. She sings funny songs with Nadia, another myspace friend. Raisa is someone I never expect I will see again, but would love it if I did.

Student P..
- I used to work for Peace Action, they have a myspace page for their Student group, and being a student-like person, I became friends with their page.

Rammer, M.D.
- Mike Rammer is the kinda guy that you refer to by his first and last name. He is also the nicest person I know, and I feel that I could count on him for anything. He was one of the first people I met in Chicago, and he lives a few blocks from me. It is good to have him as a neighbor, it makes me feel safer.

Barry
-This picture is too much. Barry is a friend from college, and is probably the most successful person I went to college with. He is currently doing hair for Tori Amos on her tour, and he was always winning hair and make-up awards in school. I will always think of Barry as a part of "Barry and Joel" even though they are only friends now.

Tracy
-Ms. Tracy Ballzer, the one and only. Tracy is a mainstay in the La Crosse scene, I met her at the Casino, (a bar) where she managed a crop of "casino girls" who were really just the coolest girls in La Crosse, and more or less took care of the owner, read: dirty old man. She is a local celebrity as she hosts a radio show on the hard rock station. Tracy is someone that everyone loves, and I hope she knows it, she can go with anyones flow or lead the way. I love her.

Luke
- Luke is more friends with my friends than anything, but if we were in the same place we would hang out for sure. He was a Viterbo-go-er, but younger than me by a couple of years. He is one of those extra good looking kids that is nothing but good. I don't know but I bet he is from Minnesota, he has that "Minnesota nice" thing going on.

Bret Gand..
- Bret Gand is Dead is a band, a theme band. Bret gand is a character that led a huge orchestra, who unfortunately died in a tragic Zeppelin accident. The three surviving members tour and go thru some zany things whilst performing skits and songs in many different episodes, two of which I had the pleasure to perform in. My good friend Chip Hamlett, is the bass player, and vocalist, my other friend Bret is guitar and vocals. they used to have a drummer, Alex, but I think there is someone new filling that role so he shall remain nameless.

Gunnar
- Gunnar was a good friend of my brothers, and I became friends with him after I graduated High school. He is crass, funny and pretty interesting. He lives in Texas with his wife Jenny, who loyal readers may remember as the daughter of my mothers old assistant teacher. We are pretty connected;) He came back into my life thanks to the Myspace, thanks Myspace!

Juuuuulie
-Julie 'Fro' as she is known (she's got some curls on her white head) is a friend from college, although like most of my friends from college she and I never went to school together. She is a smiler, she's cute, and fun. She is living up north in the gopher state, and I hear, although not directly from her, she is "in love" I am guessing the guy in the pic is the lucky beau.

Sara
-Ah how the girls with guys in their pictures run in pairs. Sara Melchior is the younger and equally funny sister of Jay, the funniest pair of siblings I call friends. Sara also lives in the land of 10,000 lakes, and she works/worked for a bail bondsmen, I got a shirt that says "Jail Sucks" from her. I believe she is getting married this summer, and she is probably smiling all the time about it.


Tony
- So, meet Jose Antonio Love, an American Spaniard, with looks to kill. He should be a spy in the vain of James Bond. Tony is an incredible talent. I believe he is living the rock and roll life, while I know he is an actor with the ability to do anything he wants. He is living in LA/LV and i bet the ladies are loving him. Stupid trivia: tony birthday is my 1/2 birthday, and vice versa, so all into stars and the like, we are exactly opposite ;)

Matty Mat..
- Matt is another Viterbo-ite, as are all four friends in #9. Matt is a couple of years younger than me, and I think he also is living in LA. I know Matt Rice as the young "kid" who always was up for anything, although now he is probably the young "man" always up for anything. Matt is short and looks like he was a wrestler in high school, but I dunno.

Graham
-Graham, like the cracker. Graham did my training day at peace action, and was a good friend of mine whilst he lived in chicago. He has been working in D.C. at the peace action main office, but he is getting the hell out of dodge. Graham can dance, play the guitar, make the ladies swoon, be susceptible to the religions of his lovers. ;) A big plus to graham is his willingness and instigation to play outside on the days we should all be playing outside.

kelly
-Kelly I met down at the Junk shop, she dates brett, chips room and band-mate. she is in her own band Mayor Daly. Kelly is a true bohemian, she is always smiling, (it seems) always being silly, always a good time. I think she is great, period.

Stephanie
-Stephanie is a year younger than me, and she went to the same college as i did, she is mostly a friend of friends. she was theatre major, and has that theatre major silliness that we all seem to have. I can't think of anything else specific to say about her.

JENNI
-I have known Jenni since I was a little kid. her mom and my mom taught a pre-school class together for years and she came back into my life after I graduated high school. She got married and has a child with my and my brothers friend Gunnar. she lives in Texas now and seems to be enjoying the family life.

-Tany is brittany a friend from both my first and second lacrosse stints. I like being around brit, and would bet whoever spends time with her a lot feels the same,. Brit lives in NYC, so she's making it ;) Brit is from Wisconsin Dells, and she worked at a water park (i think) as a kid, so she was the one who never had to wait in lines.

Jodi Jean
-Jodi is one of my girlfriends best friends, she can sing, and play the guitar, and do anything. she is really silly, but seriously serious. Jodi was not my friend in college until I started dating Sarah, but i was young and obnoxious, so i don't blame her. Jodi lives here in Chicago up in edgewater, and her band, tiger moon, plays around town every couple of weeks.

Maggie
-Maggie did not make a good impression on me when we met, I thought she was mean. And, well she is kinda mean, but also funny, smart and talented. She works as a nanny, and she is a poet. Like a real poet, who writes things i like. She lives in logan square just a few blocks from me, and she screen prints, onesey's for the tots. I met her because she is super good friends with my former co-worker and friend...

-Sara mathers, funny, loud, self-assured, sound like any one's blog your reading? Sara is from illinois but she has a southern accent, (don't tell her I said it,) she used to work with me at peace action, and now is my neighbor. I have had some of the biggest fights I have had in chicago with her, but like me, she is quick to let things go, for the good of a friendship.

-Circus Is Ben Shultz, I worked with ben at peace action, when I first moved to chicago. He lives with Sara Mathers just a few blocks from me. Ben also built my bike (which is broken) I bought it at working bikes, which is one of the places ben works now.

keith
- keith is my boss at steppenwolf, and the man i stole this idea from. Keith is great, I really like him as a boss and a friend. He is an ensemble member at the rogue theatre in andersonville. He is also into music in a big way, he is taking a weekend off from the show he is in, to go to bonaroo... enough said.

Joel
- Joel is a college friend, he lives in boystown and is a manager? at roscoes on halstead. he and my girlfriend are super-good friends and I really like hanging out with him. also he looks like a high fashion model (read super handsome gay guy) and I think he is the kinda guy that will take really good care of some other lucky guy someday.

Jay
- There was a time when I thought Jay was the funniest man alive. I may still think that, but he doesn't live by me so I don't always think about it. Jay's college diploma reads Jay the Jester. no last name just Jay the Jester. he is great with kids and played the back half of snuffalupagus in sesame street live, and some monster or dragon in dragon tales live. Now I have no idea where he is or what he's doing. whatever it is I am sure he is making people laugh.

Mandi, is friends with drex, not sure where from though, she proclaims she is a madam, like as in "I got some girls that work for me," type madam. She exploded in a drunken rage last time she came to poker, and i think I am afraid of her.

Jake
-Jake I know from college, in La Crosse, Wi. he directed me in our town, and is quick, smart, funny, an asshole? I can relate. Jake lived with jay and ed, in Minneapolis, that is where I started to hang out with him more often. Now, I have no idea what he is up to, but based on his myspace picture, he has found himself a "steady"

Steph
-Steph is tall, she is friends with Katie Mayar, or someone in that crew, I see Steph every few weeks, she seems positive and friendly, in this city where dissing is everyone's preferred way to talk about each other. when I say tall, I mean it, she is over 6 foot tall. I should see if she has any extra pants I could have.

Barbi
-Barbi is the mother of a child in Ben Minnis' preschool class. I met her once or twice, I think she moved from Eugene Oregon, to Bellingham Washington, tough life...

- Known as amy shipley, to the non-virtual world, I met her thru Jim Fitches, and promptly fell in love with her; I am not intimidated easily, but this woman scares me. I don't know if we are friends, I don't know if she knows you I am when we "re-meet," and I think I am usually pretty memorable. I think she is a traveler, I think... I don't really know what the fuck she does. I wish I hung out with her, we would be chums I am sure.

Adam
- Mr Smit, went to Africa. For real, last week, for like 9 months. Adam worked at Peace Action and was seriously skilled. He was a strong conservative christian as a kid and is still coming into his own. Like you might think, (what with the 9 month Africa trip) Adam is out to change the world, I won't be surprised when he does.

shakeydog
-brenden, or brandon, but I think brenden, is friends with bella, and bikes like a boy should in chicago. he is young and talented, he makes art, he had a piece up at lalapolooza, bella is found of him, so I like him for no other reason.

Janelle
-the first time I met Janelle, she was really fucked up, on some drugs that I can't recall at the moment. I met her at the home of jay, jake, and ed, in minneapolis. she lived in their building and that is that. She always seemed nice and friendly, I really know very little about her... married I think? whatever, janelle and I are by no means close, but on myspace, if you know them, and they ask, we're friends.

-Katie Mayer is a smart cookie, she is more critical than most of my friends, but is by no means mean. I first met Katie thru Jim as they moved here together from Colorado. She is now dating Mike Rammer, another Peace action alum. Maybe katie likes the peace slingers. she has a cute cat, and a coffee grinder that hangs on the wall in her kitchen, cool!

Elliot
-Elliot is a kaplan-ite. He is also my #1 myspace friend, for we made a New Years resolution to be best friends by the end of the year. 1/3 of the way thru we are closer than we were, so it seems we are on our way. He is dating my old roommate and co-worker Julia Goeke. Like most cool chicago kids, elliot is full of wit.

Shaky Feet
-Nate Otto in the real world; Nate is my current roommate, My friend sara, found nate to be her roommate on the craigslist, and I stole him to be mine when julia moved to uptown. Nate is cynical, smart, old?, and an artist. I like him as a roommate because he, like me, is dirty and lazy, but willing to be clean when it is needed. Nate has become one of, if not the, most feared poker players at our game. (i am better than him though, no matter what he says.)

Nadia
-Nadia, what to say, where to begin? Nadia is fabulous in every sense of the word. She and I butted heads all the time when we/she were/was in college, and are too similar to ever really get along. However, I respect and in a way envy her. I think in a different life I would have fallen in love with her, she is beautiful and has like 25 beautiful sisters, she sings funny songs, does funny things, is loud, and obnoxious, and is on her way.

- Doug is Andy Bellers roommate, I have met him once, he was quiet, on my space he always writes witty comments, so we are myspace friends.

JULIANNE

- I have not seen julianne in years, we went to college together, she dated my friend josh mitchell, she is another one of my friends, who always seems to be doing something interesting, I am envious of people who are closer to her than I.

-Drex, or christopher drexler, a smartly dressed hell of a guy. He can cook a mean dinner, and play a mean game of poker. He dates, "midge" or alana. I met drex thru katie mayer, and drex lives with two other friends of mine. he is a para-legal, and a history buff. I can't think of anyone who doesn't love drex, he is good shit.

Lo-Down M..
-Molly is Jim fitches old roommate, she is young and I don't really know much about her, she lives in pilsen, so she is probably cooler than me.

my "boss" keith's idea or "meet my myspace"

on myspace my boss keith listed his myspace friends that he was close to, and something about them. he was extra nice about it. I want to do it too, but i want to write it honestly(not that keith wasn't being honest, he just wrote positive things about people.) I like people so i am not worried about writing my true feelings, but often I am oblivious to sensitive topics, and since no one really reads this....yet, it is safer then myspace.

-she's my roommate nate's ex-girlfriend, I only hung out with her once. we played darts, on an inside, safe-ish dart set. I think she is probably really cool, she has a web sit called: Jordanisrad.com

Nate
-i went to college with Nate, I think he lives in minneapolis. uh... he has an effeminate happy-go-lucky demeanour, he is however straight, to my knowledge.

Midge
-Midge is really Alana, sounds like Elena, she is child-like, playful, yet she gets shit done. I first met Alana when I came home from Mexico less then a year ago and think of her as one of my closest friends. she is also a poker regular, and won her first time she played.

- Chirtopher Pappas, a craigslist find, was my roommate for 6 months, 2 of which I was in mexico. he is maybe a genius, maybe an incredible skateboarder, definitely weird and really fucking interesting. he bought a motorcycle drove it for a while and sold it, he reads a lot, I always wished I could have figured out how to spend more time with him. I think he will either go crazy, or do something forever remembered.

I was trying to think of a cool title to give my cool new blog. I tried tina the man, no dice, not the biggest of shocks after the smallest of thoughts. But willingly unable was available. So.. my second cool new title idea, is the one. Now the question i can't answer:
